Tariq founded WorkBOS and decides what it becomes. Rob co-founded it and carries the legal, education and nonprofit side. Aqsa is our CTO and builds it.

Founder of WorkBOS. He has been COO of Rainer Agency Ltd and of Hashtag Dialing Codes since 2022, with 15+ years across operations, finance, strategy and business development; before that he was Sales Coordinator at StarStar Hotlines Inc. He works in English, Urdu, Punjabi and Saraiki.

Rob Rainer

Co-Founder

New Hampshire, USA

Co-Founder of WorkBOS. Attorney, philanthropist, educator and innovator with more than 40 years of work behind him. He read his way there through Brandeis University and Suffolk University Law School, and holds patents in intuitive search syndication and social interaction systems. He is Professor Emeritus at the International University of Leadership in Morocco.

Aqsa

Chief Technology Officer

Aqsa is our CTO. She runs the engineering side of WorkBOS, front end and web, across both the marketing surfaces and the application. Full stack across React and Next.js, Node.js and MongoDB, plus PHP/WordPress and motion work with GSAP and Three.js. Her public portfolio is at devaqsa.com.

How we work

Two countries, 13 time zones

We have worked this way since 2023, and it shapes the product as much as it shapes us.

Distributed since day one: The team is spread across two countries and roughly 13 time zones. That is not a perk we adopted; it is how the company started.
The founders have never met in person: Not once. Every decision, every disagreement and every release has happened through writing.
Asynchronous by default: Written first, meetings last. If a decision cannot survive being written down and read eight hours later, it is not a finished decision. That is also why WorkBOS records approvals and keeps an audit trail rather than relying on someone remembering a call.
We are small on purpose: The people on this page are the people who build the product. There is no layer between you and them.
