1. 01Connect live where you can

   Wise, Stripe, Square, Mercury and PayPal connect with a read-only key that goes straight into your encrypted Secrets vault. History arrives at once, new transactions arrive every hour, and every provider’s fee is split out as its own line.

2. 02Import a statement from any other bank

   CSV, OFX or QFX from your online banking. OFX and QFX need no column matching, a CSV is mapped and previewed first, and duplicate lines are detected so re-importing the same file is safe.

3. 03Reconcile by matching

   Match each statement line to a suggested ledger entry of the same amount, pay an open bill or settle an open invoice of exactly that amount in the same step, post it to an account, or exclude it.

4. 04Let rules and memory do the repeat work

   A rule such as any description containing a supplier’s name goes to a chosen expense account pre-fills every matching line. WorkBOS also learns from the payees you file, and shows how often it has been right.

5. 05Know when the period can be trusted

   Type in the closing balance from your statement and the Reconcile panel tells you when the cleared balance matches it exactly.

6. 06See cash at a glance

   The Overview shows cash in the bank beside what your books say, money in, money out and net cash flow over 30 days, lines waiting for review, a six-month cash-flow chart and your biggest payees.
