Why this exists
What it does
Finance > Bills records supplier bills and tracks accounts payable, with the due date filled from the supplier’s payment terms. A deleted draft goes to Trash and can be restored for 30 days.
Finance > Suppliers is your supplier master with terms, balances and 1099 tracking, and every supplier has a statement of its bills and payments.
A claim is raised, submitted for approval, approved to record what is owed and paid to settle it, posting to the ledger at each step. Nobody can approve or pay their own claim, and an approver can send one back to the claimant.
Repeating money holds recurring billing (which raises invoices), recurring expenses (which raise bills) and supplier subscriptions, weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly, each paused or ended when you say.
All spending lists every cost whatever it came from: bills, bank payments, card charges imported from a provider, expense claims, payroll and manual entries, with filters, grouping, totals and a spreadsheet export.
Money out overview shows what you spent, bills waiting, overdue bills, bills due in the next seven days, claims still owed to staff, spending by month and category, and your top suppliers.
The honest part
The part you would otherwise find out in week three. If one of these is central to how you work, raise it before you buy rather than after.
Questions
No. The server refuses it, owners and admins included, and the page says whose turn it actually is.
Yes. A recurring expense raises a bill on its schedule, and recurring billing raises an invoice. Bills and invoices already generated are kept if you later end the schedule.
Yes. Bills, bill payments and expense claims post to the general ledger, so payables and the reports agree with the lists.
