Show what you mean, instead of writing a paragraph about it

Capture your screen, your voice and an optional webcam bubble straight from the browser, no plugin to install, and get a shareable public link the moment you stop recording. Every clip is malware-scanned and stored in your own workspace, and you can attach it straight to the task it explains.

Included from Pro upwards

Why this exists

  • A bug is easy to see and hard to describe in a support ticket, so the back-and-forth to reproduce it eats the afternoon.
  • A two-minute walkthrough usually means booking a meeting nobody had time for, or reaching for a separate tool that lives outside the workspace and outside your storage plan.
  • The clip that actually explains a task ends up as a link pasted somewhere, disconnected from the task itself.

What it does

Record straight from the browser

Capture a tab, a window or your whole screen with no plugin or download, optionally narrating with your microphone and showing your face in a round webcam bubble. A 3-2-1 countdown gives you a moment to get ready, and you can pause and resume mid-recording.

Preview it, and re-record if it is not right

Stop recording and get an instant preview before you save anything. Quality presets from High down to Light trade fidelity for a smaller file, so a longer capture can still fit.

Trim, speed up and crop before you save

Cut the start and end, speed the whole thing up 2, 4 or 8 times into a timelapse, crop to 16:9, 4:3 or square, add a watermark, and export as a WebM video or an animated GIF, all inside the browser.

Share a public link, or keep it private

Recordings are private to your workspace by default. Share link creates a public, no-login viewer link you can send to anyone, and revoke it at any moment to stop it working.

Put it on the record it is actually about

Attach a recording to the task it explains, a bug repro or a walkthrough, straight from the player, and detach it just as easily. Every clip is malware-scanned before it can be played or downloaded, the same gate Drive files go through.

What it does not do

The part you would otherwise find out in week three. If one of these is central to how you work, raise it before you buy rather than after.

  • A single recording stops at 10 minutes or 200 MB, whichever comes first. Record it in parts if you need longer.
  • Screen capture relies on the browser’s own recording support: current desktop Chrome, Edge or Firefox. There is no mobile recording.
  • A client on your client portal never sees a recording. It stays staff-only unless you hand out a public share link yourself.
  • Screen recordings are on Pro and above; the Free plan does not include them.

Questions, answered

Do I need to install anything to record my screen?+

No. Recording uses your browser’s own built-in capture in current Chrome, Edge or Firefox on desktop, so there is nothing to install, only a permission prompt each time you start.

Can I share a recording with someone outside my team?+

Yes. Share link creates a public, no-login viewer link streamed through a short-lived secure URL. Revoke it at any time and it stops working immediately.

Is there a limit on how long a recording can be?+

Yes: 10 minutes or 200 MB, whichever you hit first. Pick the Light quality preset for a smaller file if you need more runway before that cap.

Can my clients see the recordings on my client portal?+

No. Recordings are staff-only by default. A client sees one only if you send them a public share link yourself.
