Why this exists
What it does
Press Schedule meeting and the tabbed scheduler is pre-filled: today, the next half-hour, one hour long. Change who can join (your team, invited people, or anyone with the link), the waiting room, time zone, repeat and location.
Camera, mic, screen share, in-meeting chat and a live participant grid, with speaking and connection-quality indicators on every tile and pagination past nine people.
Anyone with the link enters their name and joins, no sign-in. With the waiting room on they knock and a host admits them; invite-only meetings show a clear sign-in screen instead.
With captions on, every final line is saved as a per-speaker transcript. One click produces a factual summary, explicit decisions and action items, each with a Create-task button. Human notes are never overwritten, the AI section is appended below them.
In Chrome-family browsers the call follows you into a small always-on-top window the moment you switch tabs, and merges back when you return.
Connect LiveKit, Daily, Dyte, 100ms, Agora, Vonage, Jitsi or a self-hosted provider. Keys are stored secret-isolated and never reach the browser; only a short-lived signed join token does.

Questions
No. When a meeting allows anyone with the link, a guest types their name in the green room and joins. With the waiting room on (recommended) they wait until a host admits them.
Your connected provider uploads the file, it is malware-scanned, counted against your storage quota, and appears under that meeting’s Recordings button. An admin has to connect the provider’s recording webhook before this starts happening.
LiveKit is fully integrated for live joining today. Daily, Dyte, 100ms, Agora, Vonage, Jitsi and a self-hosted option can store their configuration, and go live as each adapter ships.
They are built from the call’s captions: a summary, explicit decisions, and action items you can turn into real tasks with one click. Anything a human already wrote is kept and the AI section is added below it, never over it.
