By team · Client services

One branded place your clients log into, instead of four they keep losing.

Clients do not want another login, and they especially do not want four. The WorkBOS client portal carries your brand and shows them the projects, files, invoices and approvals that are theirs, and nothing that is not.

What usually goes wrong

01

Clients chase you for status because there is nowhere for them to look.

02

Approvals happen in email threads, and nobody can find the one that matters.

03

Files live in a drive, invoices in another tool, and the client has links to both.

What you get, by name

Every capability below is enforced on the server, not a demo screenshot. Anything that needs a paid plan says so on the card rather than leaving you to find out at checkout.

A branded client portalPro and up
Projects, files, invoices and approvals, under your logo and colours, showing each client only their own records.
Support deskPro and up
Tickets, threaded replies and assignment inside the workspace, so a request is not an unread email.
Drives, forms, surveys and booking pages
Shared files with malware scanning, intake forms with logic and uploads, and booking pages for the calls that follow.
Invoicing and hosted payment links
Branded invoices and receipts with secure public links, carrying the issuing company’s own identity when you run more than one.
Communities and member spacesPro and up
A place for a cohort or a client group that is not another chat tool nobody opens.
Approve-first AI agents
An approve-first AI Chief of Staff that proposes the work and waits for a person to say yes. Every action it takes runs through the same permission checks a human would hit, is recorded against the person who approved it, and can be rolled back in one click. The full append-only audit log you can read back and export is an Enterprise capability.

Your first week

  1. 1

Set your branding, then invite one friendly client into the portal.

  2. 2

Move that client’s next approval and next invoice through the portal rather than email.

  3. 3

Point your intake form and booking page at the same workspace so nothing arrives outside it.

What you are probably weighing this against

Each comparison opens by saying where the other product is the better choice, because that is the half of a comparison worth reading.

Questions client services teams ask

Can clients see each other?

No. Tenant isolation is enforced by row-level security in the database rather than hidden in the interface, and a client sees only the records linked to them.

Can I put my own brand on it?

Logo and colours on every plan. A custom domain with WorkBOS branding removed is an Enterprise capability, and reselling under your own brand to your own clients is the white-label partner plan, which is quoted rather than bought from a checkout and has its domain attached with our team.

Do clients need a paid seat?

Portal access and guest roles are separate from your team seats. Ask on the call how your client count maps to your plan, because it depends on how you intend to use it.
