Stock, supplier bills and the support inbox, over books that balance.

A store front tells you what sold. It does not tell you what you owe, what is left, or whether the month made money. WorkBOS runs inventory, supplier bills, the support desk and a real general ledger in one workspace.

What usually goes wrong

01

Stock levels, purchase orders and the accounts disagree by the end of every month.

02

Supplier terms and what you actually owe live in an inbox.

03

Customer questions arrive in four channels and get answered in none of them twice.

What you get, by name

Every capability below is enforced on the server, not a demo screenshot. Anything that needs a paid plan says so on the card rather than leaving you to find out at checkout.

Products and inventory
A price list and stock in the same workspace as the invoices and bills that move it.
A vendor master and billsPro and up
Contact details, account numbers, payment terms, currency, tax ID and default expense account, with what you owe now, what is overdue and what you have spent this year computed on the server.
Support deskPro and up
Tickets, threaded replies and assignment, so a customer question is not four unread inboxes.
Real accounting with multi-currencyPro and up
Ledger, trial balance, P&L, AR and AP aging, and stored FX rates so a historical report does not revalue itself.
Promotions and content calendarPro and up
A content calendar next to the campaign it belongs to, with unattended publishing to LinkedIn today and drafts for the other networks.
Approve-first AI agents
An approve-first AI Chief of Staff that proposes the work and waits for a person to say yes. Every action it takes runs through the same permission checks a human would hit, is recorded against the person who approved it, and can be rolled back in one click. The full append-only audit log you can read back and export is an Enterprise capability.

Your first week

  1. 1

Load products and opening stock, and bring in your supplier list.

  2. 2

Post a week of supplier bills and check the AP aging.

  3. 3

Point one support channel at the desk and set an SLA.

What you are probably weighing this against

Each comparison opens by saying where the other product is the better choice, because that is the half of a comparison worth reading.

Questions e-commerce teams ask

Does it connect to my store front?

Through the org-scoped REST API and outbound webhooks on the Pro plan, plus CSV import for the bulk cases. There is no one-click store integration today, so plan the wiring rather than assuming it.

Is inventory full warehouse management?

No. It is product and stock records in the same workspace as your money, not a WMS with bin locations and pick paths. If you need that, this is the wrong tool for that part.

Can I reconcile the bank?

Import a statement CSV, map the columns and work the queue with rules that suggest. Duplicate lines are detected so re-importing is safe. There is no live bank feed.
