List views (sort, group, filter, save)
Every list shares the same controls. Lists open clean each visit: no filters applied, columns at their defaults, and rows newest-first by date of entry. Click any column header to sort by it (the up/down arrow shows the direction); click again to flip the direction.

Search & filter
Use the search box for quick text matches, or Filter for structured filters. Filters never stick between visits unless you save the view.

Custom filter: ask anything about any column
Under Filter, build your own conditions on any column the list has, including custom columns you added yourself. Twelve operators: is, is not, contains, does not contain, starts with, is one of, is more than, is at least, is less than, is at most, has any value, is empty. Add as many conditions as you like and choose whether a row has to match all of them or any of them. "Deal value is more than 5000", "owner is one of Sara, Malik", "phone is empty", "name does not contain test" - none of which needed a developer. A condition applies once it has a column and a value, so nothing changes while you are still writing it, and the value box suggests the values that column actually holds. These are the same words the automation builder uses, and they mean the same thing in both places. Custom conditions are part of the saved view, so a question worth asking twice is one click next time.

Group
Use the grouping control to group rows (for example by status). Grouping is OFF by default. Turn it on only when you need it.
- 4
Columns
Columns size themselves to fit their heading and their content - no wide empty margins - and the first (name) column stretches to use whatever space is left, so every list is compact by default. Open Columns to show, hide, reorder, resize, wrap or freeze columns. Drag a column edge to set your own width (your width always wins over the automatic one), or double-click the edge to fit the content.

Save view
Changed the columns, filters, widths or grouping? A "View changed" bar appears with Save view / Reset. Save it and the list opens that way for you next time; Reset returns to the clean default.
You only ever see rows you are allowed to see: lists, global search and CSV exports all respect your role and the workspace permissions.
Select rows and you can delete them from the bulk bar. What happens next depends on the record. The main business records (projects, portfolios, companies, clients, leads, deals, proposals, contracts, jobs, offers, invoices, bills, credit notes, estimates, receipts, vendors, tasks, forms, surveys, signature requests and QR codes) go to Trash for 30 days with everything attached (a form with its submissions, a survey with its responses, a signature request with its audit trail, a QR code with its scan history), in one operation rather than one row at a time, capped at 100 items. A completed signature request cannot be deleted: it keeps its audit trail. Lists of smaller things - notes, assets, reports and the like - delete for good, one at a time, with no cap, and their confirmation says so. Read the wording on the confirmation; it is accurate either way. See Deleting and restoring (Trash).
A custom filter tests exactly what the column shows you. On the few lists that load in pages as you scroll, it narrows the rows loaded so far and says so, with a Load more button next to the message. And selecting rows, deleting them or exporting them only ever acts on rows the filter is showing: a row a condition is hiding cannot be picked up by "select all".
