Voice & calls

Voice adds outbound calling to your workspace, place calls from your CRM and keep a full call log, with cost controls built in from the first call.

  • Set up, an owner or admin connects a telephony provider (Telnyx) and a caller-ID number under Messages ▸ Calls, then adds the phone numbers you’ll call from. Nothing can dial until it’s configured and enabled.
  • Safe spend, every call passes hard cost caps before it is placed: a per-call cap, a per-workspace monthly cap you set, and a platform-wide daily cap, plus a global kill switch. Do-not-call numbers are always blocked.
  • Call log, every call is recorded with who placed it, the number, status, duration, and cost, scoped to your organization.
  • AI call notes, when a call recording lands, it is transcribed automatically and Chief writes a short summary plus suggested follow-ups. Open Notes on any call to read them; each suggestion becomes a task only when YOU add it (approve-first, the AI never creates work items on its own). Transcription is metered under the platform AI budget and can be stopped globally with one switch.

Security: your provider API key is stored so that it is never readable by any app user, only the server uses it to place calls. Calls and numbers are organization-scoped and staff-gated; outbound is disabled by default until an operator turns it on.
