Quickstart

WorkBOS is free to start: up to five seats, no card required, with every module your plan includes switched on from day one. This page is the short version; "Getting started" below is the longer, in-app walkthrough of the same steps once you are signed in.

   1. Create your workspace

   Sign up, give your workspace a name (your company or team name: it appears across the app, on your invoices and in your client portal), and you get one workspace with your own login. It is isolated from every other workspace at the database level, not just hidden by the screen, so nobody outside it can see into it. The first time you open it you are asked one thing at a time: the welcome step confirms the name and your industry (and can add sample data), the guided setup follows, and the setup checklist stays on your home page until the basics are done. Until the workspace has its first project, task or deal, the home page offers three ways in: create your first project, invite your team, or start from a template.

   2. Fill in your business profile

   Your company name, address, tax ID and logo feed straight into your invoices, proposals and white-label emails, so it is worth doing before you send your first document.

   3. Invite your team and set their access

   Add the people who will use the workspace. Each person gets an access level (owner, admin, member, viewer or guest) and, optionally, a role template that bundles a set of permissions so you are not toggling them one by one for every new hire.

   4. Turn on the modules you need

   WorkBOS is modular: CRM, HR, Finance, Marketing, the client portal and more can each be switched on or off for the whole workspace, so nothing you are not using has to be in your way.

   5. Start from sample data, or a clean workspace

   A new workspace can be populated with example projects, deals, invoices and a starter AI-agent team so you can see how the pieces fit together, or you can start empty and build it up yourself. Sample data can be wiped later from one screen.

   6. Pick a plan when you are ready

   The Free plan stays free for up to five seats. Upgrading adds seats and any features gated to a paid plan; both upgrading and cancelling are self-serve.
