Teams: members, roles, projects & performance

Teams group people for assignment, visibility and reporting. Manage them under Users ▸ Teams, or open any team’s Overview page for its live dashboard. A person can belong to more than one team.

  1. 1

    Create or edit a team

Users ▸ Teams ▸ New team (or the pencil on any team) opens the team modal. Set its name, description, avatar, the Company (entity) it belongs to, department, mission and colour. Archive a team from the Status field instead of deleting it.

  2. 2

Add members and set each role

In the modal’s Members tab, search a person by name and Add. They appear in a list where you set each one’s team role: Lead, Editor, Contributor, Viewer or Member. Remove anyone with the ✕. You can also add a person to a team inline from the Manage users list. The Team column has a + button.

  3. 3

    Assign projects

In the Projects tab, search a project and Add it to the team. The team then owns that work for reporting; a project can be shared across teams.

  4. 4

    Read the performance

The modal’s Performance tab and the team Overview page show live metrics: members, active projects, open/overdue tasks, completion rate, hours logged, per-member workload and the team’s assigned projects with progress.

Team roles are a separate layer from your org roles and never override them. A Lead or Editor can manage their own team (its members and projects), but only ever with capabilities their org role already allows. A team role can never grant access beyond that. Everything is enforced server-side by row-level security.
