Texting registration (A2P/10DLC)
US carriers require every business that texts customers to register once: who the business is (legal name, tax ID, address, website) and what it sends (the kind of messages, real samples, and evidence of how people opt in). WorkBOS collects exactly that in a guided form and submits the registration to the carriers on your behalf. An owner or admin fills it in under Phone > Messages > Texting registration, saves drafts freely, and submits when done; every requirement is checked the way carrier reviewers check it, with a plain sentence when something is missing.

1. Fill it in
Business details exactly as they appear on tax records, an authorized contact, what you text about with two real sample messages, and the opt-in story: where people sign up, the exact consent wording they see, and public links to a screenshot when the sign-up is not on the open web. The opt-in story is what reviewers read closest.

2. Submit
We register your business and campaign with the carriers on your behalf. Approval commonly takes two to three weeks. The status shows on the same card, in these words: submitted, in review, needs a change (with the carrier note attached), registered, or refused. Those are the same five words the registration desk and the release notes use, so nothing you are told anywhere means something different here.

3. If the carriers want a change
The card shows the note from our registration desk word for word, your admins get a notification, and the form unlocks so you can fix it and resubmit. Once registered, nothing else is needed from you.
Privacy: the registration, including the business tax ID, is visible only to your workspace owners and admins and to the WorkBOS registration desk that carries it to the carriers. It is excluded from workspace backups on purpose, and erasing the workspace erases it.
