Finance: reports you can run, save and schedule
**Finance reports** (Finance ▸ Finance reports) holds every finance report in one place. Business overview: Profit and loss, Profit and loss by month, Balance sheet, Cash flow and Trial balance. Expenses: Expenses by category (each expense head with its total, its share and how many costs it holds), Expenses by supplier and Expense detail. Income: Income by category, Sales by customer and Sales by product. Who owes you: Receivables aging. What you owe: Payables aging. Pick a report, set its filters (dates such as this month, last month, this year or your own dates; the company; cash or accrual where it applies) and press Run report. Every result can be exported to a spreadsheet or printed, and rows such as an expense head open the ledger behind them.
**Save** keeps a report in the Reports list so you can open it again. **Schedule** runs a report by itself every day, week or month and emails a link to you and anyone else you add. A scheduled report remembers the period as words, not dates: a monthly Expenses by category set to "last month" shows October when it runs on 1 November and November when it runs on 1 December. Scheduled finance reports are listed at the bottom of the page, where they can be paused, resumed or deleted. Saving and scheduling need the Reports feature and a role that can create reports.
